Gods and Generals Band…
Gods and Generals band is off and running, and, though we have a lot of work still to do, we are super excited to say, its already cranking up!
This band has a long history, and Ill put up a history page with former members and such once I get more time.
This is a totally new line up since I last had the band up and running some 8-10 years ago.
First, I have to say I never thought I’d be playing again in this way, as a band. I gave up music for quite awhile. I simply got burned out beyond belief. I took on another career, and never looked back
Until recently, when I was talking to my good friend Tom. Tommy has always been my favorite drummer that I’ve ever worked with, and we both felt it might be a good time to try and build something together again. We have wanted to for decades, but never got the chance
Here we are!! So, thank you Tom..
Also, I do not want to forget The Count. Jeff Artebasy, who was with us until very recently. He’s going in a different direction than we are, and, so we parted ways on this project anyway, but, he has been a real foundational part of getting us going and out there. We had a few really fun gigs. Great player and a brother.
Thank you Count! I’m sure we will play together in some way again soon!
Lastly, we really appreciate the venues, and friends, that have already come out to support us.
A big thank you to Dani for helping shoot video and just be generally awesome at our first show! She dresses for success!
We have added John Richardson on keys, and that is going to make this beyond phenomenal. To say we are excited is just not even close. A master musician to stick back there with that other master on the drums! Needless to say, I have never been happier in anything I’ve ever done musically. Its gonna be FIRE
